Why the turmeric? Turmeric contains magical nutrients…the kind that practically cast spells to keep you strong and healthy! I am adding it to everything I can at the moment to help protect my health with its’s anti-inflammatory and a super strong anti-oxidant properties. It’s also linked to reducing stress and depression, and elevating ‘happy hormone’ neurotransmitters such as serotonin.
Ingredients
- 12 pitted Medjool dates
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup almonds or cashews
- 4Tbsp chia seeds
- 1Tbsp coconut oil
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 2tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 10 drops The Natural Prescription CBD Oil – orange
- 2Tbsp shredded coconut for dusting
Method
Pop everything in a food processor, blitz till dough like. Roll into balls. Dust with shredded coconut. Refrigerate till firm. Enjoy!
